i got scamed 100 k + 125 ectos...

i was offered saphirs for it.. worth like 100 k + 140 ectos... he showed me them looked exactly like real saphirs and i even read the name suddenly he changed them i didnt notice... so i got a bunch of fake saphirs for miniyeti when it was worth 100 k +125 ectos

i then reqvested to anet to help me.. they say we will investiagte this and any action taken will be discused etween the account related and anet.. so the next day i looked the guy didnt get banned he was still scaming people.. i GOT SOO ANGRY .... i then scamed around 50 people just to bring anet the attention of this scam...

thanks to my mass scam fake saphirs got changed skin after 2 -3 days lol ^^ <<<

the best thing with recall scams are that.. u also ask them to drop item.. i let them drop something worth 50 plat.. and i never move to anywhere execpt close to portal.. everytime they tryd to scam me... they drop their item and i enter throught the portal.. and they got soo angry!! lol !!! i say sory and we redo it 2 or 3 times and then they understand ia m doing it on purpose LOL HAHAHAH and by this time they lost about 100 platinium !!

Don't often trade but when i do it's quick transactions. I just make sure i read every item before i accept. I feel sorry for the people that still dont know about the assasin step trick

whats great actually is when u play along with the stupid long scams on purpose then just as he trioes to make it final say u have screenshots of the whole event and will /report if they don't pay up. beat a scammer by scamming them

in the first days I started playing, (when the game came out) some dude tried to sell me a fiery dragon sword and tried to make me beleive that when you equiped the sword and typed in an emote you would change into Rurik...

Two wrongs don't make a right. Sure, it could have gotten Anet's attention, but what if you were reported for scamming?

You could have just made the issue between you and Anet. You didn't have to scam 50 other people just because you were too dumb to double-check a trade.

Basically, you're no better off than any of the scammers. In order to prevent a scam, you scammed 50 people. You're not getting a halo anytime soon.

actually saw a scammer today,
was selling some high end wares when this guy (call him guy 1)approach and said he was interested, then another guy (call him guy 2)came and said that the guy 1 wants to buy his stuff too.

guy 1 then said he wants to see what guy 2's stuff look like so we went outside.

guy 2 then walk away and drop the items so guy 1 can see them.
then guy 1 walked away to a a diff spot and drop his items too so guy 2 can choose and pick what he wants. guy 1 then ask me to drop the item i was selling so he can c.

thats when i say "i wont even try"
he was w/a....
and then he knew that i know he was scamming, he tried recruiting me and showed me all the things he scammed. wpns/pets valued at 400k i would say.
i told him it wont work, and he said, im an expert...

guy 2 was on it too, they were double teaming me.

Beware of this scam.

Standing in Great temple ad1 the other night. I see WTS keys - 2k ea. Well I know somethings going on because these gor for 4-5k easily. so I pm the guy (ok I admit I figured I could easily double the profits) and say Ill take his keys. We go to storage, open trade and hes selling ascalon keys.

LMFAO. If the guy wanted to at least try and scam, get a key that looks similar, not completely different.

WTS Eternal Shield req9 inscribable b/o 100k + 5 ectos / c/o 100k + 8 ectos..

i was like ok .. wtf. pm the guy, hey il take the b/o price lol.

he was like no, you have to bid over 8 ectos

so i said 10 ectos.. he said ok il inform last bidder.

5 mins later, ok he said 14 ectos, want to go higher? ..

me: na thanks, to much for me..
him: ok, il do it +12 for you.. il tell him you bid 16 or something

at this point i smell something fishy and say

na, +5 ectos or nothing, the other bidder isnt real obiously..

hen says, ok we meet kamadan, il show the other guy is real.

he brings the other guy to kamadan, and add me to party, we go outside..

hes like, yeh i want the shield bla bla..

im like ok, gl and left.

5mins later, the guy pms me

you want to buy the shield? +10 ectos final deal..

im like, mmm ok, we traded..

he then goes haha you fing noob, the other guy wasnt even a real bidder.

i go yh, i know, but you just lost out, ima sell this on guru now for +20+ ectos..

hes like omg noob, thats not even worth 100k..

same day i sold it on guru +24 ectos.

this was when NF was pretty new.

This is also the worst I have been scammed, but I never fall for it. Always check and check and check items/gold!! lol.
